Greetings and welcome to the Central States Rocky Mountain Horse Club website. Our club was formed in 2001 with the purpose of breeding, preserving, and promoting the original Rocky Mountain Horse in the states of Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
We proudly testify to the loyalty, versatility, and athleticism of this wonderful breed, not to mention their inherent nature to love and bond with the owners. The 4 beat lateral gait is a dream ride across the open trail, and many Rockies have gone on to excel in Competitive trail, Obstacle course as well as Dressage.
You will find the Rocky not only the standard color bearer for the well known chocolate with flaxen tail and mane, but beautiful in many shades including Bay, Black, Buckskin, Chestnut, and Palomino.
